Minturn Nut Co.
Identity Redesign &
Brand Development

The creative concept for Minturn Nut Company is characterized by the passage of time but distinguished by the unchanging constants that define the brand — integrity, honesty, humility, down-to-earth approach, and care for quality.

By 2021, Minturn, a California almond processor located in the Central Valley, was celebrating the business’s 25 year anniversary. The road toward this milestone was marked with scrappy yet hard-earned success but a comprehensive brand refresh presented them with a unique opportunity. Firstly, to build and expand on their solid reputation while separating themself from other smaller competitors with dated brand touchpoints. And secondly, to charge ahead confidently into the future with a modern brand that better reflects how far the company has grown and better appeals to a younger generation of almond growers.

Our team produced a creative platform that described the company’s great size and scale and global reach juxtaposed against a culture of humble roots, approachability, and small, meaningful gestures. We crafted a story that acknowledges the drive and determination from their past, how they define quality and the way they do business today, and how they want to continue growing for the next 25 years.

Minturn’s rebrand included everything from a new creative platform, logo, and identity system to updated email communication tools, redesigned sales and marketing collateral, new messaging, fresh social media content, an entirely rebuilt website, and a brand standards guidelines. Additionally, we concepted, art directed, and executed a brand photoshoot and video production culminating in two brand videos that boosted Minturn’s story for web and digital presence.
